CCI was registered in the Philippines for trading of copper and gold, iron, manganese and other base metals sourced from small to medium scale operations throughout Mindanao.
SIgned a Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) with Yang Tai China and Panoraon Small Scale Miners Cooperative's (PASSMICO) in the construction of a Medium-Scale Mineral Processing Plant (flotation plant) to process low-grade copper ore.
CCI established CCIL Mining and Mineral Resources Corporation (CCILMMRC) as subsidiary company in the Philippines also registered in Hong Kong, primarily for the exploration for Cu-Au porphyry-type mineralisation and epithermal-mesothermal precious metals. Project generation includes exploration, evaluation and assessment of magnetite sand deposits, iron ore, nickel laterite, chromite and manganese are also being conducted in Cagayan, Surigao Del Norte, Surigao Del Sur, Pangasinan, Davao Oriental and Zambales.
CCIL Mining and Mineral Resources Corporation was granted by the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) an Industrial Sand and Gravel Permit (ISAG) to mine and process magntite-rich river sand in Cagayan River, Cagayan Province. An Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) was also granted to CCILLMMRC for the ISAG permit.
CCIL Mining and Mineral Resources Corporation was granted by the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) a Mineral Processing Permit (MPP) to process magntite sand in Cagayan River, Cagayan Province. An Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) was also granted to CCILLMMRC for the MPP.
CCILMMRC signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Provincial Goverment of Cagayan to dredge a section of the colossal Cagayan River. The Dredging Permit stretches about 15 kilometers long covering the municipalities of Aparri, Calamaniugan and Lallo.
In the same year, a JVA was signed with Ronquillo Mining Corporation (RMC) to conduct geological surveys and mineral exploration over their Exploration License Permit area in Ilagan, Isabel. The area is known to host iron deposits and potential for porphyry-type Cu-Au occurences.
Million Link Chrome Ltd., a local subsidiary of CCILMMRC constructed a mineral processing plant in Brgy. Pinagrealan, Candelaria, Zambales. The plant will process and upgrade chromite tailings and low grade chromite ore with a projected monthly production capacity of about 20-30 thousand tons.
Signed JVA with Claver Mineral Development Corporation (CMDC) as mining operator for the Nickel Laterite Deposit within their Mineral Production Sharing Agreement (MPSA) license area in Cagdianao, Claver, Surigao Del Norte.
Signed MOA with the Municipality of Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao for the dredging of Simuay River and Shoreline as a mitigating measure to address the flooding problems of the municipality. Also signed a JVA with JMI Sand & Gravel and Trucking Services Corp in conjunction with the implementation of the Marine and River sand dredging program.
